Introduction

 ✉️ Welcome to the Journey

Dear friend,

Thank you for being here. I hope that one day we'll meet up and have a chat in person.

Whether you’re searching for answers, hoping for clarity, or just curious, you’re welcome.

This is not a religious sales pitch. It’s a sincere invitation to explore what the Bible really says on its own terms, without pressure or spin.

This isn’t a lecture, it’s a conversation.

📖 Why This Study Matters

(For Seekers, Sceptics, the Disillusioned, and the Determined)

Not everyone is religious.
Not everyone believes in God.

Many have never had a meaningful conversation about faith. Others have walked away from religion, sometimes quietly, sometimes with deep wounds.

You may have been handed confusing answers…
You may have seen hypocrisy and empty traditions…
You may have sensed that something’s missing and wondered:

  • Why are we here?
  • Why do we die?
  • Is there something more after this life?
  • If God exists, does He care—and how would we know what He wants?

These are real questions. They deserve real answers.

This study exists because we believe the Bible gives answers clearly, compassionately, and with deep relevance for today.

We’re not here to convert you to any church or system.
We’re not defending a tradition or trying to win an argument.

We’re here to open the Bible and let it speak.
What does it say? Is it compatible with history and science?
And if it’s true… what would that mean for you?

Whether you’ve read the Bible for years, or never cracked it open…
Whether you’re a believer, a doubter, or somewhere in between…
Whether you’re burned out on religion or just cautiously curious…

This study is for you.

You’ll find:

  • Straightforward Bible passages, explained with clarity
  • Topics that matter: life, death, purpose, God, Jesus, and the future
  • A chance to pause, reflect, and come to your own conclusions

No pressure.
No church membership.
No need to pretend.

Just the freedom to explore truth and decide what to do with it.

📖 Why We Trust the Bible And Nothing Else

To build something strong, you need a solid foundation.
But let’s be honest, most people’s beliefs are built on shaky ground:

  • A tradition they were born into
  • A church they are used to
  • Maybe a leader they admire
  • An organisation that seems good
  • Feelings or intuition
  • Cultural trends
  • Snippets of Scripture passed down without context

The problem? All of those can shift or fail.
Even sincere people can be sincerely wrong.

That’s why, in this study, we use one source only: the Bible itself.

Not filtered by a denomination creed.
Not interpreted through tradition.
Not shaped by emotion or modern opinion.

Just Scripture in its own words, in its full context from Genesis to Revelation.

📜 Which Bible Should I Use?

There are many online Bibles available and it is good to look at scriptures in different translations to check what they say. Usually you will find differences in word choice, but the overall meaning is the same.

Good sources for multiple translations are https://biblehub.com  or https://www.biblegateway.com We are not affiliated or connected with these websites.

Feel free to use any online or physical Bible you are comfortable with. We use several translations so as not to be tied to any of them.

📜 What the Bible Says About Itself

“All Scripture is breathed out by God…” - 2 Timothy 3:16

“Your word is truth.” - John 17:17

“The word of the Lord endures forever.” - 1 Peter 1:25

“Do not go beyond what is written.” - 1 Corinthians 4:6

“Let God be true, and every man a liar.” - Romans 3:4

Strong words? Yes. But they’re meant to protect us.

The Bible warns us not to add to it, not to twist it, and not to rely on human authority in its place.

Because when we do, we risk missing the very message that can set us free.

🛡️ What You Can Expect from This Study

  • Every key point will be supported by clear Scripture
  • If something is widely believed but unbiblical, we’ll point it out
  • Where the Bible is symbolic or silent, we’ll be honest about it
  • You’ll be encouraged to read every verse for yourself

This isn’t about blind faith.
It’s about informed, thoughtful, tested faith that is built on solid ground.

And now that we’ve cleared the confusion and laid a solid foundation, we’re ready to begin.

Let’s open the Bible together and discover who God really is and what that means for you.

You can find online Bibles using a search engine.

🌅 Freedom ...

Jesus promised:

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:32

That’s what this study is really about ... FREEDOM.

Freedom - from confusion, from fear, from pressure, from man-made religion.
Freedom - to think clearly.
Freedom - to walk with God as He intended.
Freedom - to live with purpose, peace, and hope.

If you’ve been searching, you’re not alone and you’re not here by accident.

This is an invitation into light.
Again ... welcome to the journey.

Section One

🌍 How Life Started and What Went Wrong

To understand where we are today, we need to go back to the very beginning.

Not to myths or traditions, but to what the Bible actually says about our origin. Because when we understand how life began, we start to see our value, our purpose, and why the world feels so broken.

💡 A Perfect Start

In the beginning, God created a world full of beauty, balance, and peace. Everything had its place. There was no death, no sorrow, no fear.

Then God made humanity, not by accident, but by love and design.

“God created mankind in His own image…” - Genesis 1:27

You and I were meant to reflect His love, His creativity, His care. We were made for relationship with Him, with each other, and with the world around us.

The first humans lived in a garden where every need was met. They walked freely with God, without shame or pain.

It was perfect.

What Went Wrong?

But something changed.

God gave our first parents a simple boundary that allowed them to show their respect and love towards their Creator.

“You are free to eat from any tree… but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil…” - Genesis 2:16–17

You can read about what happened in Genesis chapter 2, the very first book of the bible.

You'll see that the man and woman listened to a lie instead of God. And believing the lie they took what was not theirs to take.

And in that moment, something inside them died. The peace was replaced by shame. The closeness was replaced by distance. The perfect world was cracked.

This is what the Bible calls sin. It is not just bad behavior, but the breaking of the relationship with God.

“Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all…” - Romans 5:12

😔 The Ripple Effect

That first choice changed everything.

Pain, conflict, fear, injustice, and death all these are symptoms of a broken connection with our Creator.

We feel it every day.
In the news.
In our families.
In our hearts.

Something’s wrong with the world. And deep down, we know it’s not how it was meant to be.

But here’s the good news: God didn’t walk away.

He had a plan, a solution that would heal what was broken and bring us back to the life He wants us to enjoy.

👉 In the next section, we’ll explore what God’s original purpose for humanity really was and why it still matters today.

🌍 God's Original Purpose

Humans Made in His Image, Made for His Kingdom

“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...’” - Genesis 1:26

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” - Habakkuk 2:14

Dear friend,

Have you ever looked up at the stars and wondered:
Why am I here?
Does my life really matter?
Was I created for something more than just surviving this world?

Those aren’t just philosophical questions, they’re personal ones. And the Bible doesn’t leave them unanswered.

From the very beginning, Scripture teaches something beautiful:
Humanity was created.
Not by accident.
Not by evolution or blind forces.
But by design and for a purpose.

🪞 We Were Made in God’s Image

In Genesis 1, we’re told that God created the heavens and the earth. Also the light and darkness, land and sea, plants and animals.

But then something different happens.
God says:

“Let Us make man in Our image…” (See Colossians 1:15–16 for more on the “Us”)

Unlike anything else, humans were made to reflect something divine.

What does that mean?
It doesn’t mean we physically look like God because God is spirit.
It means we were made to think, to feel, to create, to love, and to choose with free will, just as He does.

The highest qualities of humanity such as love, compassion, reason, justice, and kindness, all come from Him.
We were made to reflect His heart, His wisdom, and His ways.

🌎 We Were Made to Live on the Earth

Many people today assume the goal of life is to “go to heaven when we die.”
But that’s not what the Bible teaches.

From start to finish, the Scriptures reveal God’s desire to fill the earth with people who know Him, walk with Him, and reflect His glory.

“The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.” - Psalm 37:29

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” - Matthew 5:5

“You have made them to be a kingdom and priests… and they will reign on the earth.” - Revelation 5:10

Heaven isn’t our final destination.
God’s plan is to restore the earth and to restore us to it.
That’s where His purpose will be fulfilled.

🤝 We Were Made for Relationship

God didn’t create people as robots to follow commands or as slaves to serve Him out of fear.
He made us for relationship that is built on love, trust, and understanding.

“What is man that You are mindful of him…? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honour.” - Psalm 8:4–5

He created us to walk with Him.
To share His values.
And yes, even to rule over creation as caretakers, not tyrants.

But something went terribly wrong.
That’s what we’ll look at next.

🧠 Summary: Why God Created Humans
Purpose Bible Truth
🪞 To reflect God’s image Genesis 1:26 – “Let Us make man in Our image…”
🌍 To live on the earth forever Psalm 37:29; Revelation 5:10
🤝 To know and walk with God Micah 6:8; John 17:3
👑 To rule under God’s authority Genesis 1:28 – “Have dominion…”
🕊️ To choose love and obedience Deuteronomy 30:19 – “Choose life…”

❤️ Why This Truth Still Matters

If we believe we came from chance, life starts to feel empty.
If we think we were made only for heaven, we miss the beauty of God’s plan for the earth.

But if we believe what the Bible says, that we were created in God’s image, for His purpose, and for a future right here on this renewed earth ... then everything changes.

Your life has meaning.
Your choices matter.
And your future is full of hope.

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of YHWH (Jehovah).” - Habakkuk 2:14

That promise still stands.
And it includes you.

💬 Ask Yourself

  • Have I ever thought of myself as made in God’s image?
  • Do I realize that God’s purpose includes me and not just people from the past?
  • What would change in my life if I truly believed I was created for a real, eternal future on this earth?

Next, we’ll look at what went wrong and why humanity lost that closeness with God.
Understanding that loss is the key to understanding the incredible restoration that follows.

😔 The Human Problem: Sin and Separation

What Went Wrong, and Why We Need a Rescue

“Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God…” - Isaiah 59:2

“Through one man, sin entered the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all…” - Romans 5:12

Dear friend,

In the beginning, everything was good.
Humanity was made in God’s image, created to reflect His character, to live in peace, and to enjoy a close relationship with Him.

But something went wrong.
Not just in the world around us, but deep inside us.

That "something" is what the Bible calls sin, and it's at the heart of why things are broken today, why people suffer, and why death exists.

🚪 What Is Sin, Really?

Sin is not just doing something “naughty,” or breaking a rule.
It’s deeper than that.

At its core, sin is rejecting God's way and choosing our own.
It’s saying, “I want to decide what’s right for me,” instead of trusting the One who made us.

That’s exactly what the first humans did.
God gave them a simple and clear choice either to trust Him and live under His care, or to try taking control and define good and evil for themselves.

They chose the second option, and the world has been suffering the results ever since.

💡 To illustrate

Imagine a lamp that’s unplugged.
It might still look like a lamp, but without being connected to power, it can’t shine.

That’s what sin does to us.
It cuts us off from the source of life, and without that connection, we can’t live the way we were created to live.

🔥 What Sin Brought Into the World

When sin entered the world, it didn’t just bring guilt.
It brought separation, suffering, and death.

Here’s what changed:

  • People were separated from God, no longer walking with Him in unity
  • People became divided from each other, and shame, blame, and conflict replaced peace
  • We became separated from the earth itself, experiencing pain, hardship, and death

“The wages of sin is death…” - Romans 6:23

God is holy, completely good and pure, and He cannot unite with what is corrupted.
So sin created a barrier, not just in behavior but in relationship.

But even in that moment, God began to unfold his solution, the way back to Him.

❓ So What Really Happened?

The world we see today, with its violence, heartache, and confusion, was not God’s original design.

So what went wrong?

To truly understand, we need to go back to the garden, and to that one life-changing choice made by the first humans.

📖 Please Take a Moment to Read: Genesis Chapter 3

Before continuing, read Genesis 3 for yourself.
This is the moment when everything changed.

Look out for:

  • The lie of the serpent (Satan’s deception)
  • The choice made by Adam and Eve
  • The consequences including shame, fear, and separation from God
  • And most importantly, the first promise of hope and rescue (see Genesis 3:15)

Take your time as you read.
Try to place yourself in the story. Ask:

  • What would I have done in their place?
  • What does this show me about human nature and God’s character?

Then, come back when you’re ready to continue.

😓 The Human Condition Today

That brokenness didn’t stay in Eden, it spread.
Since they had children after they turned away from God we all inherited the same condition.

None of us are perfect, we are all separated from our Creator...

We:

  • Feel the emptiness
  • Wrestle with fear, pride, and guilt
  • Sense that something is wrong, even if we can’t explain it

“There is no one righteous, not even one… All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” - Romans 3:10, 23

That’s the hard truth.
But the Bible doesn’t end there, as we saw, there is a solution.
It tells a story of rescue.

💬 A Few Questions to Reflect On

  • Have I ever felt disconnected from something greater than myself?
  • Have I tried to fix the brokenness in my life on my own, only to end up more confused?
  • What if the brokenness I feel is not the end, but the beginning of something better?

💡 A Picture of Hope

Imagine a child who runs away from home.
He’s ashamed. He knows he’s made a mistake.
He doesn’t know how to return.

But his father hasn’t locked the door.
He’s left it open. He’s watching, waiting, and ready to welcome him back.

That’s how God sees us.
Not with anger, but with love.
He wants us to return.

❤️ God’s Response to Sin

A Plan Rooted in Love and Justice

“God is love.” - 1 John 4:8

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne…” - Psalm 89:14

When Adam and Eve turned away from God, something precious was lost.
The first couple were created perfect. Adam was given life directly from God, and placed in a world designed for joy and peace.

But Adam chose a self-willed life instead of trusting his Maker, God.
He gave up his perfect life, not by accident, but by a conscious decision to go his own way.

That choice brought consequences.
As we saw in the last section, it brought sin, death, and separation from God for himself and all his offspring including us.

So what could possibly fix something so broken?

 ⚖️ Justice Must Be Satisfied

God is loving, yes, but He is also just.
That means He can’t simply ignore sin or pretend it never happened.

If someone steals something, justice doesn’t say “forget it” justice demands, “make it right.”
And that’s exactly the principle God applied to Adam’s choice.

Adam took away a perfect human life from God. Adam's own life and the perfect relationship could no longer be enjoyed by God.
And in order for justice to be satisfied, a perfect human life had to be given back.

This is why no ordinary human could solve the problem.
We are all imperfect, affected by sin, and under the curse of death ourselves.
None of us could offer the kind of life that was needed to restore what was lost.

👑 A Solution From Above

A solution would need to come from outside the problem.
It would require someone who was perfect, and who was willing to give their life to replace the perfect life that  Adam discarded.

But where could such a life be found?

There were no perfect lives on Earth, however there were in heaven.

In heaven there were perfect angels, millions of them and also God's own first-born son. And it was this person who out of love for humans voluntarily offered to "empty himself" of heavenly spirit life. Yes, God’s first-born son was willing to step down from his heavenly position.

He gave up his spirit form and allowed God to transform him into a human life, growing in the womb of a woman, being born as a child, and living a real, physical life on Earth as a perfect human.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us…” - John 1:14
“He made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant…” - Philippians 2:7

This man was Jesus.

⚖️Why Jesus Had to Die

Jesus wasn’t just a wise teacher.
He wasn’t just an example of kindness.

He was the exact equivalent of Adam, a perfect man, fully obedient to God and free from sin.

But instead of using that life for himself, Jesus chose to give it up as a sacrifice, a ransom.

“The Son of Man came… to give his life as a ransom for many.” - Matthew 20:28

“For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.” - 1 Corinthians 15:22

Just as one perfect life was lost through disobedience, another perfect life was offered through obedience.
This is the beautiful balance of God’s justice and love.

Justice said: A perfect life must be given.
Love said: I will provide that life through my Son.

And Jesus said: “I will go.”

🤲 What This Means for Us

Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, the door back to God has been opened.

  • We are no longer trapped in hopeless separation
  • We are no longer defined by Adam’s failure
  • We now have the opportunity to be reconciled with God, not by earning it, but by accepting it

“God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8

“There is one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom…” - 1 Timothy 2:5–6

This is more than a theory.
This is personal.
This is the heart of the rescue plan.

💬 Reflect on This:

  • Can I see how God's love and justice work together in this plan?
  • Do I understand why Jesus’ life was so necessary, it wasn't just his death, but his perfection?
  • What would it mean for me to accept this gift personally?

Jesus came to do what we could not.
He lived perfectly. He died willingly. He paid the ransom.
And in doing so, He made it possible for us to return to the life we were meant to live.

To understand this fully, we need to be sure about the nature of God and His heavenly Son.

Section Two

 🌟 The Nature of God

The One True God: Our Heavenly Father, and His Name

Dear friend,

Let me ask you something personal.

Imagine you meet someone at work. They say, “Just call me boss, that’s all you need to know.”
You might respect their role, but would you really know them?

Now picture someone who says, “Hi, I’m Sarah. I lead this team, and I’d love to get to know you.”
You’ve been given something more than a title. You’ve been given a name. That changes everything. It opens the door to a relationship.

God did something like that.

In the Bible, He doesn’t just say “I am God,” or “the Almighty.”
He tells us His personal name. The name is not for casual use, but to draw us closer. He wanted us to know Him, not just as a title, but by his personal name.

📜 What Is His Name?

The true God, the one Jesus called Father, revealed His name to Moses, and it is written YHWH which can be pronounced Yahweh, but more often rendered Jehovah in English.

This name appears over 6,800 times in the Hebrew Bible, in fact far more than any other name or title for God.

“This is My name forever, the name you shall call Me from generation to generation.” - Exodus 3:15

📖 God’s Name in Scripture

When Moses asked God who He was, God didn’t just give a title.
He gave a name:

“God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’... Say to the Israelites, YHWH, the God of your ancestors, has sent me to you.” - Exodus 3:14–15

God told Moses that this name - Jehovah - was to be remembered for all generations.

Later, Jehovah explained:

“I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name Jehovah, I did not make Myself fully known to them.” - Exodus 6:3

And in the Psalms:

“Let them know that You, whose name is Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.” - Psalm 83:18

🏷️ Titles vs. Names

  • “God,” “Lord,” and “Almighty” are titles,  similar to “Doctor” or “President”
  • But Jehovah is His name, it is personal, specific, and full of meaning
  • It sets the true God apart from all others
  • It invites us to know Him as someone, not just something

🙏 Jesus and the Name of God

In Jesus’ day, God’s name appeared throughout the Hebrew Scriptures as those 4 Hebrew letters  יהוה (YHWH), known as the Tetragrammaton .
But many Jewish teachers had grown fearful of speaking it aloud. Out of concern for reverence, they replaced it with “Adonai” (Lord) when reading Scripture aloud.

Over time, that tradition became the norm and God’s personal name, though written thousands of times, stopped being spoken.

But Jesus didn’t follow that pattern.

He came to make His Father known, not only by name, but by nature.

🕊️ Jesus Revealed the Father’s Qualities

Jesus didn’t introduce a new God.
He revealed Jehovah more fully by showing the true character of the God who had always been there.

“Jehovah, Jehovah, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love…” - Exodus 34:6–7

“Jehovah is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.” - Psalm 145:9

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine… for I am Jehovah your God.” - Isaiah 43:1, 3

Despite the above clear description in the Hebrew scriptures, by the time Jesus arrived, religious tradition had made God seem distant, strict, and harsh.
But Jesus brought the truth back into focus. He taught about Jehovah and by Jesus' life and actions people could see God's love, His mercy, and His justice in every interaction.

“I have made Your name known to them… so that the love You have for Me may be in them.” - John 17:6, 26

💡 What Did Jesus Mean?

When Jesus said He made God’s name known, He didn’t just mean spelling it out.
He meant, “I’ve shown them who You really are. I have shown them Your love, Your patience, Your compassion.”
Jesus lived in a way that reflected Jehovah’s qualities. Through Jesus, people could truly know their Creator.

📖 Summary: The One True God

The Bible doesn’t present God as a distant mystery. It tells us exactly who He is:

  • His name is Jehovah (Yahweh, YHWH)
  • He is the heavenly Father, the source of all life
  • He is the only true God and there is no other
  • Jesus is His Son, the Messiah, sent by the Father and later exalted by Him

“You alone, Jehovah, are God.” - Isaiah 37:20
“There is no one besides You.” - Deuteronomy 4:35
“For us, there is one God, the Father…” - 1 Corinthians 8:6

💬 Reflection

Ask yourself:

  • Have I related to God by His revealed name, Jehovah, or only by His titles?
  • Am I willing to let the Bible reshape how I think about Him?
  • Do I see the beauty of calling Him not just “God,” but my Father?

In the next part of our journey, we’ll look at the person of Jesus and how he relates to the Father, what his true nature is, and how understanding this clearly affects everything else in the Bible.

💡 The Distinction Between God and Jesus

Two Beings, One Beautiful Purpose: A Father and Son in Perfect Unity

Dear friend,

One of the most important truths in the Bible is also one of the simplest:
There is one true God and Jesus is His First-born Son.

📖 A Divine Son, Distinct from God

While Jesus is not God Himself, the Bible makes it clear that he is unlike any other being. He is not simply one of many angels, he is “the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15) and the only-begotten Son of God (John 3:16). These titles suggest a unique origin, and a closeness to the Father that no other spirit creature shares.

Jesus existed before the world began. He was “with God in the beginning” and “through him all things were made” (John 1:2–3). This makes him far more than a teacher or prophet that appeared on Earth, it shows us that Jesus has a divine origin, given life directly by God Himself.

There is much debate over John 1:1 where in most Bibles the opening verse of the Gospel of John, states: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

This verse introduces the concept of the Word (Logos) as being a pre-existent being, who is in some way divine, and has been with God in heaven for eons. It was only in the early third century after Christ that Tertilian used John 1:1 to develop his own views about a "Trinity."

John also penned the book of Revelation that Jesus personally gave him in visions.

📖 God and the Lamb - Clearly Distinct in Revelation

From beginning to end, the book of Revelation reveals that God the Father (the Almighty Creator) and Jesus Christ (the Lamb) are two distinct persons, working in harmony but not the same being. This is not hidden or mysterious, it is plainly stated multiple times.

🔑 Key Scriptures That Show the Distinction:
Verse What It Shows
Revelation 1:1–2 The revelation is from God, given to Jesus, and passed to John — three distinct roles.
Revelation 3:12 Jesus calls the Father "my God" four times — even in his glorified state.
Revelation 5:6–7 The Lamb takes the scroll from the hand of God who sits on the throne — clearly two beings.
Revelation 7:10 Worship is offered to God and the Lamb — not to a trinitarian blend.
Revelation 21:22–23 God provides the glory, the Lamb is the lamp — each with a unique role.
Revelation 22:1 The river flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb — a shared reign, but distinct persons.

The book of Revelation consistently presents God as the Almighty source, and Jesus as the exalted Lamb, receiving authority under the Father’s direction. Jesus calls the Father “my God,” approaches Him, receives from Him, and serves with Him.
This beautiful harmony affirms the Biblical truth:
🟢 God and the Lamb are united in purpose, but not the same person.

The apostle Paul warned of coming corruptions to the truth about Jesus at 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 were he wrote: " But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

The main point is, we only have these scriptures and the ones below that highlight the relationship between the Almighty God and His only-begotten Son Jesus (also known as the Word John 1:14). Therefore, to argue and theorize about something we have no more information about is to miss the point of being a follower of Christ.

At the same time, we must be careful not to go beyond what is written (1 Thessalonians 4:6). The Bible does not describe the exact "substance" or whether it differed in any way from the "substance" of God. (Of course, they are spirit beings in the dimension of spirit, not material anyway.) What we do know is what Jesus said about their relationship, and clearly that is what Jesus shows is important. Jesus said as was not equal to God, and he was the Son, sent by the Father.  Jesus had lived in perfect unity with his Father, two distinct persons, with two distinct wills, working together in love. Jesus told us what we need to know.

“This is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” - John 17:3

“My Father is greater than I.” - John 14:28

Many churches today teach that God is a Trinity, that is, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all apparently equal and all the same being. But Jesus never taught this. His apostles didn’t teach it either. The word “Trinity” doesn’t appear in the Bible at all.

Instead, over and over again, Scripture shows a clear and beautiful relationship:

  • Jehovah, the Father, the one true God
  • Jesus, His Son, the one He lovingly sent

Let’s take a closer look, gently, honestly, and through the lens of Scripture.

👤 Jesus the Son of Almighty God, the Father

When Jesus asked his disciples who they believed he was, Peter answered with deep conviction:

“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” - Matthew 16:16

Peter didn’t say, “You are God.” He understood the difference. And Jesus praised him for that answer.

Jesus constantly pointed to the Father as someone greater than himself:

  • “The Father is greater than I.” - John 14:28
  • “I can do nothing on my own… I seek not my own will but the will of Him who sent me.” - John 5:30
  • “Not my will, but Yours be done.” - Luke 22:42

These are not the words of someone claiming to be the same as the Father.
They are the humble, trusting words of a Son who loves, obeys, and honours his Father.

💬 Ask Yourself:

  • If Jesus is God, why does he speak about being sent by God?
  • If he is God, who was he praying to in the garden of Gethsemane?
  • If he is God, how could he die? and who raised him from the dead?

🧠 An Illustration:

Imagine a king sending his ambassador to represent him in another land.
The ambassador speaks with the king’s authority, even carries the king’s seal. But he is not the king himself.

In the same way, Jesus was sent by God, empowered by God, and returned to God and he is not the One who sent him.

He is the Son, not the Father.
The Messenger, not the Originator.
He is Jesus, not Jehovah.

📖 How the Bible Describes the Relationship

  • “There is one God, the Father, and one Lord, Jesus Christ…” - 1 Corinthians 8:6
  • “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…” - Ephesians 1:3
  • “The head of Christ is God.” - 1 Corinthians 11:3

These aren’t hidden verses. They’re plain statements that are repeated throughout the New Testament.

“I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” - John 20:17

Could Jesus have made it any clearer?

Dear brothers and sisters, let us not miss the point, let us keep to what is written, the simple truth, not some formulated theory added during the later centuries.

After Jesus died he provided the value of the ransom to God in heaven. This again gives evidence that Jesus and his heavenly Father Jehovah are separate persons.

✅ Side-by-Side: What Scripture Shows
God the Father (Jehovah) Jesus the Son (the Messiah)
Creator of all The one through whom God worked
Alone is called the true God Is called Lord and Messiah
Sent Jesus into the world Was sent, obeyed, and submitted
Raised Jesus from the dead Was raised back to life By God
Gave Jesus all authority Receives it from the Father
God Cannot die Died and was resurrected
Is prayed to by Jesus Prays to the Father

Each role is beautiful. Each is full of purpose. And they are not the same person.

❤️ Why This Truth Matters

Understanding the difference between the Father and the Son helps us:

  • Pray more clearly — to the Father, through the Son
  • Worship more purely — giving God the glory, and honouring Jesus as His Son
  • Understand Jesus better — as our Saviour and Mediator not as the source of his own power, but as one who lovingly submitted to the Father and died for our sins.

Jesus never tried to take the place of God. He came to reveal Him. And he showed us the perfect way to live which is to do the Father’s will, not his own.

💬 Questions to Reflect On:

  • Have I ever stopped to read these verses for myself?
  • Have I unintentionally blurred the line between Jesus and the God who sent him?
  • Am I willing to rethink what I’ve been told, if the Bible says something different?

“To us there is one God, the Father… and one Lord, Jesus Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 8:6

Simple. Clear. Scriptural.

And from here, we’ll look at the final important element, the powerful spirit of God at work in the world: the Holy Spirit.

🌬️ God’s Power – The Holy Spirit

Not a person, but the invisible, active power of God

“The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” - Genesis 1:2

“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” - Luke 1:35

Dear friend,

You’ve probably heard the phrase “the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity.” But when we take a fresh look at the Bible itself, we don’t find that idea.

The Scriptures never describe the Holy Spirit as a separate person with a name or identity apart from God. Instead, the Spirit is always presented as something from God, for example: His power, His breath, His invisible life force. Not a third person, but God at work.

☀️ A Simple Illustration

Imagine sunlight streaming into your room. It warms the air. It brightens the walls. It gives life to the plants. But you’d never say, “That beam of sunlight is a separate person from the sun.” It comes from the sun.

In the same way, God’s Spirit comes from Him. It is His energy, His breath, His life, reaching into our world to create, to heal, and to guide.

📖 How the Bible Describes the Spirit

Let’s look at a few examples, and let the Bible speak for itself:

  • Genesis 1:2 – “The Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.”
This is God’s presence at creation, shaping the earth — not a person, but God’s active power.
  • Luke 1:35 – “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.”
Notice how “Holy Spirit” and “power of the Most High” are used interchangeably here.
  • Job 33:4 – “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
Spirit is directly connected with God’s creative breath — His animating force.
  • Acts 10:38 – “God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power.”
This isn’t describing two things — it’s one: God’s power working through Jesus.

📜 What the Words Really Mean

In the original languages, this becomes even clearer:

  • In Hebrew, the word is ruach (רוּחַ) - meaning wind, breath, or invisible energy.
  • In Greek, the word is pneuma (πνεῦμα) - also meaning wind, breath, or spirit.
(It’s where we get words like pneumatic or pneumonia - both related to air.)

These words never describe a person with a separate will or identity from God. They describe the power of God, sent out to do His will.

In the Bible:

  • The Spirit is poured out (Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17)
  • The Spirit is given (John 14:16–17)
  • The Spirit is sent into hearts (John 15:26)

You don’t “pour out” a person. You pour out power.

🔌 Another Simple Illustration

Think of electricity flowing through a wire. You can’t see it, but you see what it does. It powers your lamp, your tools, your home.

That’s how the Spirit works: invisible, powerful, purposeful and always directed by the One who sends it.

✅ What the Spirit Is (and Isn’t)
The Spirit is The Spirit is not
God’s power and presence A separate person from God
God’s breath and life-giving energy A being with a separate will or identity
What God uses to accomplish His work An object of worship or prayer
A gift to help and strengthen believers A divine “member” of a group

❤️ Why This Matters

Getting this right brings clarity and simplicity. It helps us:

  • Pray to the Father - the one true God, Jehovah
  • Follow the Son - Jesus, our Lord and Saviour
  • Walk by the Spirit - letting God’s power shape our lives from within

This isn’t just theology. It’s a practical, freeing truth that helps us relate to God in the way He intended.

💭 Questions to Reflect On:

  • Have I been taught that the Spirit is a “third person,” or have I explored what Scripture really says?
  • Can I see the Spirit as God’s breath and power — not someone else, but God reaching out to me?
  • How might my prayers, thoughts, and faith grow if I embrace this simpler, scriptural understanding?

Dear friend,

So far, we’ve uncovered some beautiful truths:

  • There is one true God, Jehovah, our heavenly Father.
  • Jesus is His beloved Son, not equal to God, but sent by God to reveal His heart.
  • The Holy Spirit is God’s active power, moving His purpose forward in the world and in us.

Each truth brings us closer to understanding the real story, the story God has been telling from the beginning.

But there’s still more, and it’s even more amazing.
In the next part, we’ll explore:

  • Why Jesus came to the earth
  • How he fulfilled ancient promises written by God's prophets
  • And how his life and death opened the way back to the future God always intended for humanity

It’s the heart of the whole message, the reason all of this matters so much.
You are not here by accident.
You are part of something far bigger, something far more hopeful, than religion has often shown.

Shall we keep going?
The best part of the story is just ahead.

Section Three

Jesus Christ - The Centre of God’s Plan

Jesus Came To Reveal the Father and Preach the Kingdom

“I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God… because that is why I was sent.” - Luke 4:43

“No one has ever seen God, but the only Son… has made Him known.” - John 1:18

Dear friend,

When many people think of Jesus, they picture a baby in a manger, or a man dying on a cross.
And while Jesus’ death is absolutely central to God’s plan, it wasn’t the only reason he came.

Before he gave his life, Jesus spent years teaching, healing, and proclaiming a message that shaped everything he said and did:

The Kingdom of God.

And just as importantly, he came to reveal his heavenly Father's true personality and His purpose.

🕊️ Jesus Came to Reveal the Father

In Jesus’ time, many people had a distorted view of God.
The Jewish religion had made Jehovah seem distant, cold, and impossible to please.
Rules and traditions had buried the truth.
Fear had replaced love.

Jesus came to change that.

“Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.” - John 14:9

“I have made Your name known to them.” - John 17:6

Through his compassion, his teachings, his patience, and his forgiveness, Jesus pulled back the curtain.
He showed us what the Father is really like -  full of grace, mercy, tenderness, and truth.
Jesus didn’t bring a new God but he restored the real image of the one true God, Jehovah.

👑 Jesus Came to Preach the Kingdom

Modern Christianity often focuses heavily on “going to heaven.”
But that wasn’t Jesus’ message.

His mission was about God’s Kingdom: God’s rule being restored on earth.

“Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand!” - Matthew 4:17

Jesus wasn’t offering a way to escape the world, by floating off to heaven.
He was offering hope for Earth's restoration and a future where justice, peace, and righteousness would fill the earth.

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” - Matthew 5:5

And he didn’t just talk about it, Jesus actually showed what it would look like:

  • Healing the sick
  • Feeding the hungry
  • Welcoming the outcasts
  • Forgiving the broken

Every act pointed to the kind of world God’s Kingdom would bring.

🙏 The Lord’s Prayer: A Kingdom-Centred Vision

When Jesus taught his followers how to pray, he put the Kingdom front and centre:

“Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven…”
Matthew 6:9–10

Notice:

  • He didn’t say, “Take us to heaven.”
  • He said, “Bring Your will to earth.”
  • God's plan has always been to heal and renew the world He created.

Jesus’ whole life was a living invitation:
Come back to God.
Come into His Kingdom.
Let His will be done, starting with us.

✨ A Message of Restoration

Jesus spent his ministry:

  • Teaching about the true character of God (John 5:19–20)
  • Showing the way into the Kingdom (Matthew 18:3)
  • Healing the broken and giving hope (Matthew 11:4–5)
  • Calling people to repent, to forgive, and to love like citizens of the world to come

He pointed us to his Father.
Jesus was the fulfilment of all the earlier prophesies.

✅ Summary: Why Jesus Came
Purpose Scriptures
To reveal who God really is John 1:18; John 17:6–26
To teach the good news of God’s Kingdom Luke 4:43; Matthew 4:17
To call people to repentance and faith Mark 1:15
To live as an example of obedience John 5:30; 1 Peter 2:21
To prepare the way for salvation Luke 19:10; John 3:16–17

“The Spirit of Jehovah is upon Me… He has sent Me to proclaim good news to the poor… and the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Luke 4:18–19

Before he died for our sins, Jesus lived so that we could truly know the Father and trust the future He is preparing for all who love Him.

While it would be true that Jesus knew and used God's name Jehovah, it seems that Jesus' main emphasis was on the relationship of Jehovah being our kind, forgiving heavenly Father. And Jesus taught us to pray to God that way.

💬 Reflection:

  • Have I ever noticed that Jesus taught us to pray for God’s rule to come to earth, not for us to leave the earth?
  • If I really believed that the earth would be restored under God's Kingdom, how would that change how I live today?
  • Has my religious background clearly shown me this hope?
  • Am I willing to explore more deeply what Jesus taught directly from the Bible itself?
  • Do I know what the Kingdom of God really means? (See Daniel 2:44 for an exciting prophecy!)

In the next part, we’ll explore the very heart of God’s rescue plan:
The Ransom: Jesus’ obedient death and what it means for all humanity.

Shall we keep going?

🌟 THE RANSOM

Salvation Through Jesus' Obedient Death

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” - Matthew 20:28

“Through the obedience of the one man, many will be made righteous.” - Romans 5:19

Dear brothers and sisters,

In the last section, we saw that Jesus came to reveal the Father and to proclaim the coming Kingdom.
But his mission didn’t end there.

At the very centre of God’s plan is something deeply personal, something that touches every one of us:
Jesus gave his life as a ransom for you.

This wasn’t just a symbolic act.
It was a real, costly, deliberate sacrifice that opened the way for forgiveness, resurrection, and restoration.

❓ What Is a Ransom?

A ransom is the price paid to set someone free.
In Bible times, if a person was enslaved, imprisoned, or condemned, a ransom could secure their freedom.
We still use the word today: if someone is kidnapped, a ransom is demanded to set them free.

The Bible uses this powerful image to explain what Jesus did for us: He paid the price, that of his own perfect life so that we could be freed from the consequences of sin and death.

💡 Illustration:
Imagine someone drowning in deep water, unable to swim.
A rescuer dives in, lifts them up but loses his own life in the process.
The rescued person lives because someone else paid the ultimate price.

That’s what Jesus did for you and me.

⚖️ Why Was a Ransom Needed?

When sin entered the world, it brought separation from God and with it, death.
Not just physical death, but spiritual death too: a broken connection, a loss of hope and purpose.

“The wages of sin is death…” - Romans 6:23

God is love, but He is also just.
He couldn’t simply ignore sin, or justice would be denied.
Yet He didn’t want to destroy us either.

So, in His love, He made a way for justice and mercy to meet:
A perfect life given in exchange for what was lost.

“You were ransomed… not with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ…” - 1 Peter 1:18–19

🤲 Why Did It Have to Be Jesus?

Only a perfect human life could match what Adam lost.

  • Adam was created perfect, but sinned and lost everything.
  • Jesus, born perfect, remained obedient, even to death, and gave everything.

No one else could do it.
There were no perfect humans left on earth.

But here’s the incredible part:
Jesus already existed with God in heaven.
He willingly left his heavenly glory and stepped down into our broken world.

“.., but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant…” - Philippians 2:7

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” - John 1:14

Jesus’ life was transferred, by God’s power, into Mary’s womb, not through human conception, but through the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35).
Born fully human, but perfect, he lived fully obedient, without sin.

💡 Illustration:
Picture a king living in a palace of light and safety.
But when he sees his people trapped in a dark, deadly valley, his firstborn son offers to go to the rescue.
The son willingly takes off his princely robes, leaves the palace, wearing the clothes of a servant, and enters the valley to rescue them.

That’s what Jesus did.
Not forced, but freely offered to perform this out of love
Driven by love for his Father and for you and me.

“No one takes my life from me. I lay it down of my own accord.” - John 10:18

🧠 Why an “Obedient” Death?

Because obedience was what Adam refused to give.
And obedience was what Jesus freely offered, even when it cost him everything.

“He became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross*.” - Philippians 2:8

Note: Some translations suggest it may have been a simple upright stake rather than a traditional cross.

Feel free to explore that for yourself. And read the Deep Dive Study Subject.

✅ What the Ransom Accomplished
Problem Ransom Solution Scriptures
Sin caused separation Jesus brings reconciliation Ro 5:10
Sin brought death Jesus offers resurrection 1 Cor 15:21–22
We were powerless Jesus did what we could not Ro 5:6–8
We faced judgment Jesus satisfied justice Is 53:5–6

“God made him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21

This is not just dry doctrine. It is love in action.
The rescue we needed, at a price we could never pay.

💬 Reflect & Respond:

  • Have I truly understood what Jesus gave and why?
  • What does it mean to me that he laid down his life willingly?
  • Do I see the ransom as God's perfect blend of justice and love?
  • What would it mean to follow Jesus’ example of love and obedience in my life?

“Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” - 1 Peter 3:18

And bring us to God, he did.
But death was not the end of the story.

In fact, it was just the beginning.

🌅 In the next part, we’ll look at the event that proved who Jesus really was, confirmed God's approval of his sacrifice, and opened the door to everlasting life: The Resurrection of Jesus.

🌅 THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS

Proof of God's Plan and Jesus' Authority

“God raised Him from the dead… and made Him both Lord and Messiah.” - Acts 2:24, 36

“He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” - Romans 4:25

Dear brothers and sisters,

Jesus’ death was an act of pure love.
But his resurrection was an act of power, not from Jesus himself, but from God the Father.

It was Jehovah’s declaration to all creation:
"This is My chosen one. The ransom has been accepted. The way back is open."

Jesus Really Died

Before we talk about resurrection, we need to be absolutely clear about one thing:
Jesus truly died.

  • He didn’t fake it.
  • He didn’t just “appear” to die.
  • He didn’t slip away to hide somewhere.

He gave up his life fully and completely.

“He breathed His last.” - Luke 23:46

“They saw that He was already dead…” - John 19:33

“Christ died for our sins…” - 1 Corinthians 15:3

His body was laid in a tomb.
His friends and followers were crushed.
Hope seemed lost.

📖 Please take a moment to read the full account if you can: Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, and John 19.

✨ God Raised Him from the Dead

But then, something incredible happened.

Jehovah God raised Jesus back to life.
Back to Earth for many to see. Not a myth. A real resurrection.

The Bible repeats it again and again:

“This Jesus God raised up, and of that we are all witnesses.” - Acts 2:32

“But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death…” - Acts 2:24

“Whom God raised from the dead…” - Acts 3:15

The resurrection wasn’t a reversal of God’s plan, it was the glorious completion of it.

It proved:

  • Jesus truly was the Messiah.
  • The ransom had been accepted.
  • Death does not have the final word.

👑 From Resurrection to Authority

God not only brought Jesus back to life, after accepting the ransom, Jehovah exalted him:

“God has made Him both Lord and Messiah.” - Acts 2:36

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” - Matthew 28:18

Today, Jesus is:

  • Alive forever, never to die again.
  • Seated at the right hand of God, honoured above all.
  • Our intercessor, our leader, and the future King of the earth.

💡 Illustration:
Imagine a soldier sent on a dangerous mission. He completes it faithfully, even at the cost of his own life.
When he returns, the king doesn’t just welcome him, he also honours him, places him in command, and gives him full authority.

That’s what Jehovah did for Jesus.
The Son completed the rescue.
The Father gave him glory.

📖 Please Read the Resurrection Account

If you have time, pause and read:
Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, John 20, and 1 Corinthians 15:5–6.

You'll see:

  • The women discovering the empty tomb.
  • The disciples encountering Jesus alive.
  • The honest doubts, the amazement, and the unstoppable joy.

📖 The Resurrection Was Witnessed

The resurrection wasn’t whispered in secret.

“He appeared to Peter, then to the Twelve… then to more than five hundred at one time…” - 1 Corinthians 15:5–6

Hundreds of eyewitnesses saw the risen Jesus.
It was so powerful that many gave their lives rather than deny what they had seen.

This is the foundation of Christian hope.

✅ Summary: Why the Resurrection Matters
Truth What It Proves Scripture
Jesus rose from death God accepted the ransom Romans 4:25
God raised him Jesus was truly the Son Acts 13:33
Jesus lives forever Death has been defeated Rev 1:18
Jesus was exalted He now intercedes for us Romans 8:34
He was seen alive The Gospel is trustworthy 1 Cor 15:3–8

💬 Reflect & Respond:

  • Have I thought of the resurrection as a real, historical event, not just a belief?
  • Have I read the resurrection accounts for myself and pictured the wonder of that moment?
  • Do I see Jesus today not just as a figure of the past, but as a living King, full of love, ruling by God’s authority?

“Because He lives, we also shall live.” - John 14:19

🌟 Next, we’ll explore what happened after the resurrection when God exalted Jesus to a role of supreme authority, always under His own headship. Exaltation by the Father, it's coming next!

👑 EXALTATION BY THE FATHER

Given All Authority by Jehovah

“Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above every name…” - Philippians 2:9

“When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subjected to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.” - 1 Corinthians 15:28

If you are dead, clearly there is nothing you can do. Jesus couldn't raise himself from the dead.
He didn’t crown himself King.
He didn’t seize authority for himself.

Jehovah, the Father, did all of that.

Jehovah raised Jesus, exalted him, and entrusted him with authority, not to make Jesus equal with Himself, but as a reward for his faithful obedience, love, and sacrifice.

👑 What It Means to Be Exalted

To be exalted means to be lifted up, honoured, entrusted with power.

After Jesus completed his mission of living perfectly, teaching the Kingdom, and giving his life as a ransom, Jehovah resurrected him as a powerful spirit being. He walked the Earth and continued to teach his disciples for 40 days, then God placed him hat his right hand in heaven.

“God has made Him both Lord and Messiah…” - Acts 2:36

“God seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places…” - Ephesians 1:20–21

Today, Jesus is:

  • Ruling beside his Father
  • Representing us as High Priest and Intercessor
  • Preparing to return as King of God's Kingdom on Earth

What an amazing future we are being invited into.

✨ All Authority Given to Jesus

Many people know the verse:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” - Matthew 28:18

But notice the wording: it was given, not claimed.
Jesus didn't take it by force; he received it as a gift from the Father.

Jehovah remains the source of all power.
Jesus, even now, uses his authority in full submission to the One who gave it:

“The Son can do nothing by Himself, but only what He sees the Father doing.” - John 5:19

Even in his exaltation, Jesus never acts independently of his Father.

🙏 Jesus - Exalted Yet Humble and Obedient

Even glorified and honoured, Jesus remains humble before his Father.

“The head of Christ is God.” - 1 Corinthians 11:3

“He sits at the right hand of God.” - Hebrews 10:12

“The Son himself will be subjected to Him who put all things under him.” - 1 Corinthians 15:28

Jesus shows us that true greatness is not about self-glorification, but about joyful obedience and love.

⏳ Jesus Waited to Exercise His Kingly Power

Although Jesus received authority after his resurrection, he patiently waited for the right time to begin his active rule.

Hebrews explains it clearly:

“But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from then on until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.” - Hebrews 10:12–13

And Psalm 110:1 prophesied the same:

“Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

When would Jesus begin his kingly rule?
When would the final phase of God's purpose move forward?

We’ll explore that exciting development later.

✅ Summary: Jesus' Exaltation
What Happened Who Did It Why It Matters
Jesus was raised from death God the Father (Jehovah) God accepted the ransom (Acts 2:24)
Jesus was seated at God's right hand Jehovah Jesus now rules from heaven (Eph. 1:20–21)
Jesus was given all authority Jehovah God He is King of the coming Kingdom (Matt. 28:18)
Jesus will one day return Sent by God To judge and restore the Earth (Acts 17:31)
Jesus will subject himself to the Father Jesus himself To fulfill God’s purpose fully (1 Cor. 15:28)

💬 Reflect & Respond

  • Have I thought of Jesus not only as Savior, but also as my exalted King and High Priest?
  • Am I amazed at Jesus’ continued humility, even in glory?
  • Do I understand that true greatness, in God's eyes, is about loving submission and joyful obedience?

🕊️ Head of the Congregation and Spiritual Family

Jesus didn’t return to heaven to be distant or detached. He remains deeply involved with his people on Earth.

“God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body.” - Ephesians 1:22–23

“The head of every man is Christ… and the head of Christ is God.” - 1 Corinthians 11:3

Today, Jesus is:

  • Our living Head
  • Our Teacher and Shepherd
  • The one guiding and leading his people directly

He doesn’t work through any religious hierarchy or a human organization.

He works through his Word, his Spirit, and faithful men and women who humbly follow him.

That’s why Paul, even after Jesus' resurrection, could say:

“Paul, an apostle sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father…” - Galatians 1:1

Jesus continues to lead today, in his personal, loving, and powerful way.

🌟 In the next section, we will move into a profound truth:
What happens when we die, and the breath-taking hope of resurrection and eternal life that Jesus’ own resurrection opened up for us.

Let’s continue this journey together. 🌿

Section Four

🌿 DEATH, RESURRECTION, AND THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY

The Nature of Death: Unconscious Sleep

“For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing…” - Ecclesiastes 9:5

“Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.” - John 11:11

Dear friend,

Death is a topic many people avoid. And some fear it.
Others have been taught traditions like the idea of going to heaven immediately, or being reborn in another life. Or, being tormented forever in fiery place of agony called Hell.

But what does the Bible actually say?

When we turn away from human theories and superstition and just open Scripture, we find something refreshingly simple, peaceful, and full of hope:

Death is not life in another realm.
It is unconscious sleep, a temporary silence, awaiting a beautiful awakening.

What Happens When We Die?

The Bible is consistent from beginning to end:
Death is described as sleep, we are in a state of total unconsciousness.

No pain.
No fear.
No floating around in heaven or burning in a fiery place.

Here’s what the Bible says:

  • “Lazarus has fallen asleep…” - John 11:11
  • “David… fell asleep and was buried…” - Acts 2:29
  • “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake…” - Daniel 12:2

It’s not just a metaphor.
When Jesus spoke of death as sleep, he meant it literally, because he knew resurrection would be like waking up.

💬 Personal Invitation:
As you read these Scriptures (and please do!), allow the Bible itself to shape your view.

Beware of tradition, and human ideas.

💡 A Simple Illustration

Imagine a room where the light is turned off at night.
The room falls silent and dark.
There’s no movement, no thought, no awareness.

Now imagine the sunrise and light pouring in, life is beginning again.

That’s how the Bible describes death and resurrection:

Death Resurrection
Like darkness Like the sunrise
Unconscious sleep Awakening to life
No fear or torment Full awareness and joy

Death is a rest... and resurrection is the dawn.

❌ A Common Misunderstanding: "The Soul Lives On"

Many have been taught something different:
That humans have an immortal soul that flies off to heaven or descends to hell.

But the Bible quietly and consistently teaches otherwise.

  • “The soul who sins shall die.” - Ezekiel 18:4
  • “In death there is no remembrance of You.” - Psalm 6:5
  • “The dead do not praise the Lord.” - Psalm 115:17

The soul is not immortal.
The whole person dies and then waits to be awakened again.

This is the hope the Bible teaches not escape, but resurrection.

💭 Where Did the Immortal Soul Idea Come From?

The idea that the soul lives on forever after death is one of the most widely held beliefs in the world, but did you know it didn’t come from the Bible?

🧠 A Philosophical Invention, Not a Biblical Teaching

The concept of the immortal soul has its roots in ancient Greek philosophy. Thinkers like Plato and Socrates taught that the soul was a separate, invisible part of the person that continued living after the body died.

These ideas spread through Greek culture and eventually influenced early Christian traditions, but they were not taught by Jesus or his apostles.

In contrast, the Bible speaks of resurrection as the real hope for the dead. Jesus said that "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28–29).

The apostle Paul emphasized that without resurrection, the Christian faith would be empty (1 Corinthians 15:16–18).

Death, according to Scripture, is like a deep sleep, consciousness ends, and we await being awakened by God (Ecclesiastes 9:5; John 11:11–14).

🌱 Death Wasn't Part of God's Original Plan

As we’ve seen earlier, death was never part of Jehovah’s purpose for humanity. He created the first humans, Adam and Eve, to live forever in a peaceful paradise. But when they chose to disobey, they lost that gift of life, and death entered the human experience (Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12).

Ever since, people have struggled to understand death. It’s not surprising that philosophers and religious teachers throughout history have come up with theories to explain it and this includes the idea that something within us lives on. But those ideas are human attempts to explain something we were never originally meant to experience.

🐍 The Oldest Lie Still Believed Today

The very first lie recorded in the Bible was told by Satan. He said to Eve: “You certainly will not die” (Genesis 3:4). That was a direct contradiction of what God had said, and it proved to be false. Adam and Eve did die.

But Satan’s lie didn’t disappear. In fact, it’s still being repeated today in various forms, like the teaching that we have an immortal soul that cannot die. Doesn’t it suit Satan’s purpose to keep people believing that lie? If we think we live on automatically after death, we might ignore the Bible’s message of resurrection, the need for faith in Christ, and the hope of a future life on a restored earth.

🌅 The Real Hope: Resurrection, Not Immortality

The Bible makes it clear: immortality is not something humans already have. It is a gift from God, not a natural part of us. Romans 6:23 says, “The wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The real hope for the dead isn’t an invisible soul drifting to another realm, instead it is the promise of a resurrection to life in God’s new world. That hope is far more comforting and trustworthy than any philosophical theory.

✅ What the Bible Really Teaches About Death
Popular Belief Biblical Truth
Death = Going to heaven or hell Death = Unconscious sleep (John 11:11; Ecclesiastes 9:5)
Soul is immortal Soul can die (Ezekiel 18:4)
Dead are aware Dead know nothing (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
Dead praise God The dead do not praise (Psalm 115:17)
Hope is in escape Hope is in resurrection (John 5:28–29)

When we let the Bible define death, we can see the beautiful simplicity of God’s plan.

💬 Reflect & Respond
  • Have I assumed things about death that the Bible doesn’t actually teach?
  • Does it comfort me to know that death is like peaceful sleep, not suffering?
  • How does this change the way I think about my loved ones who have died?
  • How might this change the way I view the future and the promises God makes?

🌟 The resurrection is not a side note. It’s the very heartbeat of Christian hope.

And it’s what we will explore next: The Resurrection Hope: the promise of life restored. 🌅

🌿 THE RESURRECTION HOPE

Bodily Return to Life, As God Always Intended

“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come out…” - John 5:28–29

Dear brothers and sisters,

Death is not the end.
Not according to Jesus.
He taught that a time is coming when all who have died will be awakened.

This is not just a beautiful metaphor, or ancient poetry.
It is the solid, certain hope taught throughout the Bible:
God will raise the dead by means of Jesus

And not just in spirit, but in body, restored and whole, just as God always intended.

🧱 Resurrection Is Physical

Many people imagine the afterlife as a floating, cloud-like existence.
But when we open the Bible, we find something very different:

Resurrection is physical and real,

back to a real Earth at a time when conditions have improved..

Jesus said:

“Touch me and see; a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” - Luke 24:39

After Jesus was raised back to life by his Father

  • He walked.
  • He ate.
  • He spoke.
  • He was fully alive, in a real body.

“Christ has been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.” - 1 Corinthians 15:20

If Jesus is the first-fruits, then all those who belong to him are the great harvest to come.

🙏 Even Job Believed in the Resurrection

Long before Jesus walked the Earth, the faithful man Job expressed a deep, personal hope. The hope was not to live in heaven, but to stand again in a renewed body, on the Earth.

Job said:

“If someone dies, will they live again?
All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come.
You will call, and I will answer You.”
- Job 14:14–15

And even more clearly:

“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God…”
- Job 19:25–26

Job didn't hope for escape.
He hoped for resurrection, and to walk the Earth again, restored.

✨ Jesus Didn't Just Teach Resurrection, He Proved It

Jesus didn’t ask for blind faith.
He showed people what resurrection looks like by raising real people from death, in front of real witnesses.

Each miracle pointed forward to the great resurrection still to come.

Here are a few powerful examples:

🧓 The Widow of Nain’s Son – Luke 7:11–17

A grieving widow walked behind the body of her only son.
Jesus, full of compassion, met her.

He said:

“Young man, I say to you, arise!” - Luke 7:14

And he did.
Alive again. In front of many witnesses.
Given back to his mother, whole and breathing.

👧 Jairus' Daughter – Mark 5:22–43

Jairus, a synagogue leader, begged Jesus to heal his daughter.
But before they arrived, she died.

Still, Jesus said:

“The child is not dead, but sleeping.” - Mark 5:39

He took her hand:

“Little girl, I say to you, arise!” - Mark 5:41

And she got up, alive and well.

Again, death is shown as temporary sleep — and Jesus has the power to awaken.

🧔 Lazarus – John 11:1–44

Lazarus had been dead four days.
His body was sealed in a tomb.

Martha said:

“By this time there is a bad smell.” - John 11:39

But Jesus prayed, called out:

“Lazarus, come out!” - John 11:43

And Lazarus walked out alive before many witnesses.

❗Even Jesus’ Enemies Couldn’t Deny It

The raising of Lazarus was not a secret.

It shook the religious leaders.
It was so real that they even plotted to kill Lazarus again:

“Because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.” - John 12:10–11

Even those who hated Jesus could not deny something extraordinary had happened.

💬 Think about that:
Even the enemies of Jesus became unwilling witnesses to the truth of resurrection.

✅ What the Bible Says About Resurrection
Popular Belief Biblical Truth
We go to heaven when we die We “sleep” until resurrection (John 11:11)
Resurrection is spiritual only Resurrection is physical and bodily (Luke 24:39; 1 Cor. 15)
Few are resurrected “All who are in the graves will hear His voice…” (John 5:28)
Life continues without a body Life is restored in a body (Job 19:26)
Hope is vague or mystical Hope is solid, promised, and real (1 Cor. 15:42–44)

💬 Reflect & Respond

  • Have I been taught that "heaven" is the final destination?
  • Or have I seen that the real hope is resurrection - restored life, here on Earth?
  • Does this make the Bible’s promises feel clearer and more meaningful?
  • How might this change the way I live today - knowing that real life, full life, is still ahead?

🌟 The resurrection is not the end of the story. It’s just the beginning.

In the next part, we’ll explore where this resurrection leads:
Not to clouds and harps, but to a New Earth, where God’s original purpose for humanity will finally come true.

🌎 ETERNAL LIFE ON EARTH

The New Earth as Our True Home

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” - Matthew 5:5

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth… and the dwelling place of God is with mankind.” - Revelation 21:1–3

Dear friend,

Most people today assume the ultimate goal is to "go to heaven."
But the Bible tells a far more beautiful, grounded story:

The righteous don't leave Earth forever
Heaven comes down, and Earth is made new.

This is what Jesus taught.
It’s what the prophets longed for.
It’s what the apostles preached.
And it’s what all creation is waiting for.

🌍 God Created the Earth for Humans

From the very beginning, God's purpose was for humanity to live forever on the earth, not temporarily, but permanently.

“The heavens are the Lord’s, but the earth He has given to mankind.” - Psalm 115:16

“The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.” - Psalm 37:29

“God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.” - Genesis 1:31

God didn’t make a mistake.
He isn’t throwing the earth away.
He will restore it, just as He restores us.

💡 Illustration:
Imagine a beautiful home that's fallen into disrepair, the owner wouldn’t demolish it.
Instead, he lovingly restores it, room by room, until it shines brighter than ever.
That’s what God is doing, both with the Earth and with humanity.

✨ The Promise of a New Earth

The final book of the Bible doesn’t say "we stay in heaven forever."
It says:

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth…” - Revelation 21:1

And it describes something breath-taking:

“Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them.” - Revelation 21:3

God’s will is done on Earth, just as it is in heaven.
The Earth becomes our eternal home: restored, renewed, and filled with life.

“The meek will inherit the earth.” - Matthew 5:5

“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah…” - Isaiah 11:9

The resurrection leads to life on a beautiful, healed Earth

🕊️ What Will Life Be Like?

Scripture gives vivid pictures of the life God is preparing for those who love Him:

It will be a world...

  • Free from pain
  • Free from injustice
  • Overflowing with peace, beauty, health, and joy

“There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” - Revelation 21:4

Here’s what the Bible shows us:

🏡 Peaceful Homes and Long Life

“They will build houses and dwell in them;
they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit…
As the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people.”
- Isaiah 65:21–22

  • No more temporary living
  • No more war or displacement
  • People will live long, fulfilled lives, enjoying the work of their hands

🌾 Abundant Food, Even in Harsh Places

“Grain will abound throughout the land,
even on the tops of the hills it will sway.”
- Psalm 72:16

  • No more hunger
  • No more famine
  • Even barren places will overflow with food and life

💊 Perfect Health and Healing

“No one living in Zion will say, ‘I am sick.’” - Isaiah 33:24

“The eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy.”
- Isaiah 35:5–6

  • No more hospitals
  • No more disabilities
  • Every sickness healed, every sorrow gone

🦁 Peace in Nature

“The wolf will live with the lamb…
the lion will eat straw like the ox…
They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain.”
- Isaiah 11:6–9

Even the animals will live peacefully.
Violence and fear will disappear from creation itself.

💡 Illustration:
Think of the most peaceful moment you've ever experienced:
The beauty of a sunset, the laughter of a child, the sweetness of fresh fruit, the joy of pure rest.
Now imagine a world filled with moments like that!
That’s the world God promises.

✅ Summary: The Future God Offers
Popular Ideas Biblical Reality
We leave Earth and go to heaven forever God's Kingdom comes to Earth (Rev. 21:3)
Earth is discarded or destroyed Earth is renewed and inherited (Matt. 5:5)
Eternity is spiritual only Resurrection restores real physical life (Rev. 5:10)
Heaven is the final goal Living on Earth with God is the goal (Rev. 21:3)

💬 Reflect & Respond

  • Imagine living on the New Earth, what would I love to do there?
  • How does it change my hope, knowing that God’s plan is to bring life here, not to take me away?
  • How do I feel about seeing loved ones again, healthy and whole?
  • What sort of peaceful relationship would I enjoy with the animals?
  • What surroundings would I love to build a life in, would it be gardens, vineyards, forests, beaches?
  • Does this beautiful hope stir my heart to draw closer to God?

🌟 This isn’t a dream,  it’s the destiny God has promised to those who love Him.

In the next section, we’ll look at the signs that show we’re closer to this reality than ever before
Let’s keep walking together on this journey of hope. 🕊️

Section Five

 🌟SIGNS OF THE END

What Jesus and the Apostles Foretold

“What will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?” - Matthew 24:3

“See to it that no one deceives you…” - Matthew 24:4

Dear friend,

The disciples weren’t shy.
They asked Jesus plainly:

“How will we know when the end is near?”

Jesus didn’t give a date.
He didn’t offer a countdown timer.
Instead, he described a series of signs or a pattern that would unfold to mark the closing chapters of this current world system.

He didn’t say the world would end overnight.
He described a season of growing change, disruption, and spiritual testing.

🔍 Where to Find the Signs

Jesus’ clearest prophecies about the end are found in:

  • Matthew 24
  • Mark 13
  • Luke 21

And the apostles later echoed and expanded on these signs in their letters.

Let’s walk through what Jesus and the apostles said so that we can identify them and be prepared.

🌍 Global and Societal Signs

“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…” - Matthew 24:7

“There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” - Matthew 24:7

“You will hear of wars and rumours of wars…” - Matthew 24:6

“There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences…” – Luke 21:11

Sound familiar?

  • Global wars
  • Famines and food shortages
  • Massive earthquakes and disasters
  • Global pandemics and climate changes

Some of these troubles have always existed, but Jesus said they would grow more frequent and intense, like the pains before childbirth (Matthew 24:8).

🧍 Moral and Social Decline

“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold.” – Matthew 24:12

Paul also warned:

“In the last days… people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud… disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy…” - 2 Timothy 3:1–5

This isn’t describing a few “bad people.”
It describes the general character of society.

🛐 Religious Confusion and Deception

“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” - Matthew 24:4–5

“False prophets will appear and deceive many people.” - Matthew 24:11

Religious confusion would explode.

  • Churches divided
  • False teachers rising
  • Many claiming Christ’s name but betraying his message

This is why we keep encouraging you:
Always test everything by the Bible itself.

📣 The Gospel Preached Worldwide

“This gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” - Matthew 24:14

Even with the chaos, the true message will still reach every nation:

🔔 Key Principle: Watch, But Do Not Panic

“You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen…” - Matthew 24:6

Jesus told us not to panic.
He said to stay awake, stay calm, stay faithful.

“When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” - Luke 21:28

✅ Signs of the Last Days: What to Watch For
Category Sign Scripture
🌍 Global Wars, famines, pandemics Matthew 24:6–8; Luke 21:11
🧍 Society Moral collapse, selfishness 2 Timothy 3:1–5
🛐 Religion False teachers, religious confusion Matthew 24:4–5, 11
📣 Mission Gospel preached worldwide Matthew 24:14
🔔 Warning Stay awake and faithful Matthew 24:13

Many Bible students believe these signs began in the early 20th century:

  • World wars, starting with the First World War.
  • Collapse of empires
  • Rise of atheism and humanism
  • Global communication and travel

These aren't isolated events, put together they form the sign Jesus described.

So, it is possible that we may be living in the "Last Days",  but if this period started
with the First World War, it has been going on for about 110 years now! That seems a rather long period.
Jesus said no one would discern the date - see below.

The truth is, we don't really know when the Last Days started or even if they have started yet.

📖 What Triggers the Start of the Last Days?

Many wonder:

  • With so much human progress, why would world change so suddenly?
  • Why so much war, confusion, and suffering?

The Bible explains:
Something massive happens in heaven that triggers the Last Days on Earth.

👑 Jesus Exalted, Yet Told to Wait

After Jesus’ resurrection:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” - Matthew 28:18

Yet he wouldn't immediately take full control over Earth.
The Bible says:

“He sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool.” - Hebrews 10:12–13

Jesus waits for the Father’s timing, and we don't know how long that is.

⚔️ The War in Heaven

At the appointed time, Jesus rises as King and leads a war in heaven:

“Then war broke out in heaven.
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon…
The great dragon was hurled down, that ancient serpent called the devil…”
- Revelation 12:7–9

✅ Satan is permanently expelled from heaven.
✅ Heaven is cleansed.
✅ But Earth is warned.

“Woe to the earth… because the devil has gone down to you, filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” - Revelation 12:12

This is the real beginning of the Last Days.
The rage that will be seen on Earth is Satan’s final fury.

📖 How Long Will the Last Days Continue?

We simply don't know. We don't know when it starts or how long it will last.

But we do know this: The Last Days will continue until something sudden happens ...

📣 The Cry of “Peace and Security”

“While people are saying, ‘Peace and safety,’ destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:3

This call of “peace and security” will be a false hope. It will be a deceptive calm before the storm.

It will mark the final countdown to the Great Tribulation.

📖 This "Generation" Will See It All

After describing:

  • The Great Tribulation
  • Cosmic signs
  • His glorious return

Jesus said:

“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.” – Matthew 24:34

✅ There will be a generation that will see it all:
The final collapse known as the Great Tribulation, the return of Christ, the resurrection of the faithful, and the destruction of evil.

Are we that generation?

We don’t know. Not yet. We will only know when the cry of "Peace and Security" occurs.

✨ Jesus Gives a Clear Warning

In Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32, Jesus speaks plainly:

“But about that day or hour no one knows,
not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

At that time, no human, no angel, not even Jesus himself in his earthly role, knew the exact moment of his return or the end of the period.

Importantly, Jesus doesn’t tell his followers, “But one day, you will figure it out.”

Instead, he warns:

“You do not know on what day your Lord will come.
… The Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” -
 Matthew 24:42, 44

✅ This teaches that:

  • The day will come unexpectedly,
  • It cannot be calculated or predicted,
  • Therefore, believers must live in a state of readiness,
  • Not rely on secret knowledge, date charts, or world event calculations.
⚠️ What’s the Real Danger?

Many groups and teachers today claim:

  • “We have unlocked Bible prophecy!”
  • “We know the date or season of Christ’s return!”
  • “World events tell us exactly when the end will come!”

But Jesus warned:

“At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.”
Matthew 24:23

And Paul reinforced:

“For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”1 Thessalonians 5:2

This means:

  • It will come suddenly,
  • Unexpectedly,
  • Without advance warning or calculable timelines.
🌿 What’s the Takeaway?

Rather than obsess over world events,
or create timelines, charts, and predictions,
Jesus calls us to stay spiritually awake and live faithfully.

“It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.” - Acts 1:7

“For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”1 Thessalonians 5:2

✅ The right response is not fear or speculation, but spiritual preparation.

👑 Focus: Putting On the Christ-Like Personality

Paul writes:

“Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 13:14

“You were taught… to put off your old self…
to be made new… and to put on the new self,
created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Ephesians 4:22–24

Instead of worrying whether we’re “in the Last Days,”
we should be living every day as if we stand before Christ,
because spiritually, we already do.

🤲 Get Close to Our Heavenly Father

Jesus didn’t just warn about future events;
he drew his disciples into a deep, trusting relationship with the Father.

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you,
the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
John 17:3

✅ The most important preparation is not prophecy charts,
but personal closeness to God:

  • Through prayer,
  • Through studying His Word,
  • Through walking daily by His Spirit.

🙏 Let’s stay alert, grounded in hope, and ready for the incredible future that lies ahead.

In the next part, we’ll look closely at the Great Tribulation and the fall of false religion. These are two major events that are just around the corner.

Are you ready to keep walking? 🌿

Section Six

 🌟 The Great Tribulation

And the Judgment of the Nations by King Jesus

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.”  - Matthew 24:21

“He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.” - Isaiah 2:4

Dear friend,

Before God’s Kingdom fully takes over the Earth, the Bible tells us that the current broken world system must come to an end.

This final crisis is called "The Great Tribulation."
It won’t last long, but it will be intense. I will involve a shaking of human governments, false religion, and everything mankind has built without God.

Fortunately, it is not the end of life, instead, it is the clearing of the way for something better.

⚔️ What Is the Great Tribulation?

Jesus described it in sober words:

“There will be great tribulation, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now and never to be equalled again.” - Matthew 24:21

This is not a local crisis, it will be global.

  • All governments will collapse
  • Economies will fail
  • Natural disasters and conflicts will worsen
  • Corrupt religious powers will fall
  • Babylon the Great will be destroyed

But this isn’t meaningless chaos. And we don't need to fear it.
It is the final collapse of human rulership before God's Kingdom fully arrives.

“In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a Kingdom that will never be destroyed.” - Daniel 2:44

🔥 What Is Babylon the Great?

The Bible describes Babylon the Great symbolically:

  • A wealthy prostitute riding a scarlet beast (Revelation 17)
  • A system full of abominations
  • A spiritual influence over "peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages" (Rev. 17:15)

✅ Many careful Bible students agree:
Babylon the Great represents the entire system of false religion worldwide.

This is not just one religion, but every religious organisation that has mixed truth with error, sought political power, or social power, or led people away from true worship.

  • Ancient Babylon was the birthplace of religious lies
  • Those traditions spread globally
  • Today’s religious confusion has deep roots there

Babylon the Great is not one city or one church, it is the whole corrupt religious system.

We will look closely at how Jesus' early followers worshipped God later on, you will see it has nothing to do with global organisations which control what you think and how you should worship.

Which religions make up Babylon the Great?

📖 Leaving Final Judgment to Christ

When it comes to identifying exactly which religions today make up "Babylon the Great," the Bible encourages humility. It’s not our job to point fingers or declare who is “in” or “out.”
Jesus himself warned:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven… I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’” - Matthew 7:21–23 (NKJV)

✅ Final judgment belongs to Christ, not to us.
✅ Our role is to personally make sure we are not entangled in falsehood, hypocrisy, or human traditions that lead us away from God's will.

Key Point:
Rather than judging others, the real question is:
Is my own worship clean, sincere, and guided by Scripture?
Am I avoiding religious practices that distort God's truth, glorify humans, or mix pagan customs with Christian faith?

📖 When Does Babylon Fall?

Revelation describes three stages:

✨ 1. The Fall of Her Influence

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great!” - Revelation 14:8; 18:2

Her reputation collapses.
People no longer trust her.
Religious institutions lose their influence.

But she is not yet destroyed.

⚡ 2. The Call to “Come Out”

“Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins…” - Revelation 18:4

A final call goes out, which is urgent and personal.
Those who love truth are urged to separate from false religion before judgment falls.

✅ It is wise to act now, not wait until the last minute.

💥 3. Babylon’s Destruction

“The ten horns and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin…” - Revelation 17:16

Political powers, likely governments, will turn against religion.
They will strip her wealth, expose her lies, and destroy her.

✅ This destruction is God’s will carried out through human rulers.

✅ False religion will be erased forever.

🔥 Satan’s Final Rage

After false religion falls and is destroyed, Satan’s mask is torn away.

His fury will turn directly toward true followers of Christ:

“Then the dragon was enraged and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” - Revelation 12:17

✅ Faithful Christians will face pressure and persecution.

✅ But God promises to protect them.

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened.” - Matthew 24:22

🛡️ God's Protection Over His People

Even under attack, the faithful are never alone.

“Whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye.” - Zechariah 2:8

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.” - Psalm 34:7

✅ God's angels will guard His people.
✅ Christ will intervene at the right time.

⚔️ Armageddon

God's Final Intervention

“They gathered the kings together to the place called Armageddon.” - Revelation 16:16

Armageddon is not nuclear war or the end of the planet.
It is the final confrontation between human rebellion and God's Kingdom.

  • Governments and armies will unite against Christ.
  • Christ will defeat them.
  • Evil will be wiped away.

“These will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them…” - Revelation 17:14

🛡️ The Attack of Gog of Magog, Leading to Armageddon

Some Bible prophecies, such as Ezekiel 38–39, describe a final massive attack against God's faithful people by "Gog of Magog,". This is a symbolic name for hostile forces gathered from many nations.
Many careful Bible students understand this attack to happen just before Armageddon.

  • It describes a worldwide coalition, deceived by Satan, coming against God's restored people.
  • But Jehovah promises to step in powerfully and save His people, revealing His greatness to all the nations. (Ezekiel 38:23)

✅ Thus, the attack of Gog of Magog (Ezekiel 38) and the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16–19) are the same event, they are two views of the same final confrontation between human rebellion and God's Kingdom.

✅ Jehovah and Christ together will completely defeat all opposition (Zechariah 14:3; Revelation 19:11–21)

👑 Jesus Judges the Nations

After Armageddon, Jesus will judge those who survive:

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory… He will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” - Matthew 25:31–32

Judgment will be based on:

  • Love for others
  • Response to God's truth
  • Loyalty to God's Kingdom

Not church membership, nationality, or traditions.

🧍 Who Will Survive?

✅ A “great multitude” will survive the Great Tribulation and Armageddon.

“A great multitude that no one could count, standing before the throne… coming out of the great tribulation.” - Revelation 7:9, 14

✅ They will enter into Christ’s 1,000-year Kingdom.

✅ They will help repopulate and restore the Earth.

📖 Faithful and Discreet Servants and Our Mission Now

You may remember that long ago, Jehovah showed Isaiah a powerful vision.
During that vision, Jehovah asked:
"Whom shall I send?"
And Isaiah responded eagerly:
"Here I am, send me!"(Isaiah 6:8)

Doesn’t that remind you of Jesus' words when he spoke about the Last Days?

"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch...
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
(Matthew 24:42–44)

After saying this, Jesus asked:

"Who really is the faithful and wise servant… giving them their food at the proper time?"(Matthew 24:45)

Jesus is asking that question today, not to an organisation, but personally to each of us.

Are you happy to answer?

Will you say:
"Here I am, send me! I will be faithful. I will do it."

If so, here’s what being a faithful servant means:

✅ Staying spiritually awake
✅ Feeding and strengthening others
✅ Warning and encouraging with love
✅ Staying loyal to God and to His Word

Every believer is invited to live out this calling
by personally following Christ, serving others, and holding fast to truth.

💬 Reflect & Respond

  • Am I watching the signs with clear, faithful eyes?
  • Am I rooted in Scripture, or caught up in fear and speculation?
  • Am I willing to say to God, "Here I am, send me"?
  • Am I actively helping others find hope and truth?
  • What small step can I take today to be more useful in God's service?

Remember:
God doesn’t expect perfection, but He treasures willingness.
When we offer Him a willing heart, He provides the strength, the wisdom, and the opportunities.

"Well done, good and faithful servant… Come and share your Master's happiness." - Matthew 25:21

Section Seven

 📖 The Return of Christ

Visible, Powerful, and World-Changing

“This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”
 - Acts 1:11

“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him…” - Revelation 1:7

For nearly 2,000 years, faithful believers have waited for Jesus’ return, just as he promised.

But make no mistake:

✅ His return will not be secret, symbolic, or hidden.

✅ It will be visible, powerful, undeniable

And it will change the world forever.

Clearly, that return has not happened yet!

🔭 Not a Secret Arrival, But A Public, Global Event

Jesus warned that many would claim he had already returned in secret.
But he said clearly:

“If anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it...
For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”
- Matthew 24:23–27

His return will be as obvious as a lightning strike across the whole sky that is visible to everyone.

💡 Illustration:
Imagine standing in a dark valley, and suddenly a huge flash of lightning lights up the sky from one end to the other. That’s what Jesus’ return will be like: immediate, unmistakable, global.

👑 Jesus Returns as King, To Rule and Restore

Jesus returns not as a humble teacher, but as a victorious King:

  • With heavenly armies (Revelation 19:14)
  • With full authority from Jehovah (Matthew 28:18)
  • To defeat rebellion and establish God’s Kingdom

“The kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He will reign forever and ever.” - Revelation 11:15

✅ The King is coming, and His Kingdom will never end!

💥 His Return Changes Everything

When Jesus returns, these amazing events unfold:

  1. ✨ The Great Tribulation ends.
  2. 📣 The faithful experience the First Resurrection or are instantly transformed (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:51–52).
  3. ⚔️ Jesus defeats the rebellious nations at Armageddon (Revelation 19:11–21).
  4. 🔒 Satan is seized and bound (Revelation 20:1–3).
  5. 👑 Christ begins His 1,000-year reign over Earth with his faithful ones (Revelation 20:4–6).

This is the end of Satan’s world and the beginning of a new world ruled by God.

🧠 Why This Order Matters

  • The First Resurrection happens before Armageddon finishes so that the faithful can rule with Christ.
  • Those resurrected or transformed join him as part of the "armies of heaven" (Revelation 19:14).
  • After Christ’s victory, Satan is locked away allowing Earth to experience true peace at last.

The return of Jesus marks the beginning of real restoration!

🌿 The 1,000-year Reign

The Millennium of Healing, Teaching, and Renewal

“They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” - Revelation 20:4

The Millennium (1,000 years) is not just symbolic, it’s a real period of time when Jesus:

  • Rules as King.
  • Brings justice, peace, and healing to the Earth.
  • Oversees the resurrection and education of humanity.

During the Millennium:

  • Satan is bound and unable to deceive (Revelation 20:1–3).
  • Faithful humans rebuild and restore the Earth (Isaiah 65:21–23).
  • The knowledge of God fills the Earth like the oceans cover the sea (Isaiah 11:9).

💬 Reflection: Are You Ready?

Take a moment to reflect:

  • 🌟 Am I living in joyful expectation of Christ’s return?
  • 📖 Have I read the resurrection promises for myself?
  • ❤️ What about the new world, what am I most looking forward to?
  • 🕊️ What steps can I take now to prepare my heart for His coming?
  • 💬 How can I help others know about this good news too?

Please: Take your time. Pray, read, reflect. This is the greatest future imaginable!

🌟 The Two Resurrections

How God's Plan Brings Life and Justice to All Humanity

“There will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
- Acts 24:15

“For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive, but each in his own order…”
- 1 Corinthians 15:22–23

God’s solution to sin and death isn’t just about rewarding a few and condemning everyone else.
The Bible reveals something much deeper, it is a merciful and orderly plan that upholds both grace and justice.

✅ There are:

  • Two main resurrections
  • One incredible process of healing and restoration

Let’s explore how God's amazing plan unfolds!

✨ Resurrection #1: The Faithful First-fruits

This resurrection happens at the return of Christ, when He begins His reign over the Earth.

“Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” - Revelation 20:6

Who is included? - Please read the following scriptures.

  • The apostles and early faithful ones (1 Thess. 4:16)
  • All true followers of Jesus who died in faith across the centuries
  • Those alive at his return who are “transformed” instantly (1 Cor. 15:51–52)

These faithful ones are called the “little flock” (Luke 12:32), and they will:

  • Be glorified with immortal, spiritual bodies (1 Cor. 15:42–44)
  • Be made like Christ (Phil. 3:20–21)
  • Rule and serve as kings and priests during the Millennium (Rev. 5:10)

✅ What a privilege, to reign with Christ in restoring Earth back to God’s purpose!

👑 Will the “Little Flock” Reign on Earth?

“They will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6

“You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:10

✅ So they will rule over Earth, on the Earth itself, as priests and teachers alongside Christ.

🕊️ Will They Have Spirit Bodies?

Yes - the Bible clearly states that those in the first resurrection are:

  • Raised incorruptible (1 Corinthians 15:42)
  • Given glorified, spiritual bodies (1 Cor. 15:44)
  • Made like Christ in his resurrection form (Philippians 3:20–21)

“The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable…
it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.”
 - 1 Corinthians 15:42–44

✅ So these will be immortal, spirit-powered beings, just as Jesus was after his resurrection.

But what about appearing physically?

Jesus appeared in material form (Luke 24:39–43)

The angels who visited Abraham and Lot also took human form (Genesis 18–19)

✅ So it is possible these glorified ones may materialize if needed during their 1,000-year reign, to interact with mortals in the same way that Jesus did during the 40 days after his death.

But their essential nature is spiritual and immortal.

At first glance, the number of the First-fruits may seem to number into the millions.

But Scripture indicates this group is actually very small compared to the total number of believers.

Let’s consider what’s required to be in this group:

Requirement Scripture
Must fully follow Christ, even to death Luke 9:23
Must overcome the world Revelation 3:21
Must be called, chosen, and faithful Revelation 17:14
Must suffer with Christ to reign with Him 2 Timothy 2:12
Must remain holy and blameless Revelation 14:4–5
Must be “first-fruits” James 1:18; Revelation 14:4

👉 Not just believers.
👉 Not just morally good people.
👉 But overcomers, that is people who gave their lives fully to the Kingdom, often in times of persecution or testing.

Remember:

  • In Jesus’ own time, most people rejected him, even religious ones.
  • In the centuries after, true Christianity was corrupted, persecuted, or diluted.
  • Even today, many claim Christianity but live for the world.

“Many are called, but few are chosen.”Matthew 22:14

“Enter through the narrow gate… only a few find it.”Matthew 7:13–14

The total number of real, tested, sealed-overcomers may well be tiny relative to the total number of humans.

 💡 To Illustrate
Imagine a massive university:
  • Thousands attend,
  • But only a few graduate with honours, and go on to get a PHD, and are invited to teach others.

✅ Many are saved (the great crowd), but only a few are selected to rule

The Bible gives us a numbe.,  It is in the book of Revelation. It may be a symbolic number, but the number 144,000 is stated exactly three times in the book of Revelation, and in scripture, the repetition of something three times is often used for emphasis, certainty, and divine completeness

The three places are: Revelation 7:4, 14:1 and 14:3 where it specifies the number of 144,000. That level of specificity and repetition strongly implies a literal meaning of a numbered group with a unique role. It contrasts strongly with the “great multitude that no one could count” (Rev. 7:9).

So, probably Jesus has a set number of 144,000 who will do the ruling with him on the Earth as immortal beings during the 1000 years.

It makes sense because they are referred to as a  "Little Flock" and "First-fruits". Clearly the "first fruits" is a limited number - usually the "best" - coming before the main huge harvest. If, however, the number is symbolic, and it turns out that more or less than that number become kings and priests, it doesn't really change anything, does it.

🌱 Survivors of the Great Tribulation

Not everyone will die during the Great Tribulation.
Many faithful ones and "non-opposers" (those who didn't side with rebellion) will survive Armageddon and be welcomed into the New Kingdom.

“Then everyone who survives of all the nations… shall go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts…” - Zechariah 14:16

“They will build houses and dwell in them… the one who dies at a hundred will be considered a youth.” - Isaiah 65:21–22

These survivors:

  • Keep their physical (mortal) bodies
  • Begin rebuilding the Earth
  • Raise families in a world without Satan’s influence
  • Live long, peaceful, abundant lives

✅ But remember: they will also face a final test at the end of the 1,000 years when Satan is briefly released (Rev. 20:7–9).

🌅 Resurrection #2: The General Resurrection

At the end of the Millennium, the next great phase begins:

“The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended…” - Revelation 20:5

“Then I saw a great white throne… and I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened…” - Revelation 20:11–12

This resurrection will include:

  • Billions of people from all periods of history
  • All races, languages, cultures including people who never truly knew God
  • Even some who once opposed God but never fully understood the reality

They are raised:

  • As mortals (not yet immortal)
  • To learn the real truth, without lies or confusion
  • To be judged fairly based on their response

🧠 Judgment as a Process

“God will repay each person according to what they have done… to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory… He will give eternal life.” - Romans 2:6–7

This is not a terrifying "courtroom moment", rather, it is a process of learning, growing, and choosing:

  • 📖 The “books” are opened, likely meaning the Scriptures, possibly new information
  • 🧠 People are taught and given time to learn God's ways
  • ❤️ Their response determines their future: eternal life or eternal separation

✅ This shows Jehovah’s incredible patience, fairness, and compassion.

✅ Summary: The Two Resurrections
Resurrection Who It Includes When Outcome
First Resurrection Faithful followers of Christ At Jesus’ return Immortal life; reign with Christ
General Resurrection Billions of people from all times After the Millennium Chance to learn and respond to truth fairly

💬 Reflect & Respond:

  • 🌱 Have I understood that resurrection is about restoration, not just about reward or punishment?
  • 📖 Am I living in a way that shows I want to be part of the faithful "first-fruits"?
  • 🧡 How does knowing this plan change the way I see people today, even those who have never known God?
  • 🤝 Can I be part of helping others learn about this coming hope?

“The hour is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come out…” - John 5:28–29

🌟 The Binding of Satan

Before Christ’s Reign of Peace Can Begin, Evil Must Be Removed

“And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.”
– Revelation 20:1–3 (NIV)

✅ At the start of the Millennium, Satan is not destroyed, but completely restrained:

  • Bound and thrown into the abyss
  • Sealed away from humanity
  • Unable to deceive or mislead anyone during the 1,000 years

🛡️ Why Must Satan Be Removed?

Because real healing requires a clean environment, one without lies, violence, or fear.

Satan’s removal allows:
  • True education in God's ways
  • Real justice
  • Lasting peace and restoration

✅ Christ’s Kingdom will finally flourish without interference!

👑 Kings and Priests

Jesus will not reign alone!
He promised that those who remained faithful to him would share in his rule.

“Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection… they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” - Revelation 20:6 (NIV)

Jesus had foretold this honour:

“I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”  - Luke 22:29–30

✅ Those who share in the First Resurrection:

  • Will serve as kings and priests
  • Will teach, guide, and heal humanity
  • Will help rebuild society based on love, justice, and truth

🛡️ What Will Kings and Priests Do?
Role Purpose
👑 Kings Administer justice and oversee peaceful living
✝️ Priests Teach God's ways, offer spiritual healing and guidance

✅ Together, they will help restore human life to what it was meant to be.

📖 Healing the Nations

With Satan removed and Christ reigning, the world will finally experience what it has always longed for:
✅ True peace,
✅ True knowledge,
✅ True restoration.

🏔️ God’s Mountain — A Centre of Learning

Isaiah prophesied:

“In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established… and all nations will stream to it…
He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.”

- Isaiah 2:2–3 (NIV)

✅ "Mountain" = God's Kingdom government

✅ "Nations streaming" = All peoples willingly coming to learn truth

🌿 Teaching, Not Conquering

“He will teach us His ways...” - Micah 4:2

✅ Christ’s Kingdom will not force people.

✅ It will invite and educate, leading hearts willingly into righteousness.

🕊️ The End of War and Violence

Isaiah continues:

“They will beat their swords into plow shares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”
- Isaiah 2:4 (NIV)

✅ No more armies.
✅ No more weapons.
✅ No more violence.

Weapons of war will be transformed into tools for life: a beautiful symbol of God’s peace.

🛡️ What Will Christ’s Teaching Achieve?

Result Scripture
🌍 All nations seeking God's guidance Isaiah 2:2–3
📖 Voluntary learning and obedience Micah 4:2
🕊️ True peace: end of war Isaiah 2:4
🌱 Global restoration of society Isaiah 11:6–9

📖 Peace, Justice, Long Life On Earth

The Millennium will transform life itself.

✅ Earth will be restored to a paradise:
A place of security, health, beauty, and joy just as God intended.

🐾 A World Without Violence, Even Among Animals

Isaiah’s breath-taking vision:

“The wolf will live with the lamb… the lion will eat straw like the ox…
They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain…”
- Isaiah 11:6–9 (NIV)

✅ Many Bible students believe this will be literally fulfilled, restoring the peace between humans and animals that existed in Eden (Genesis 1:30).

🛖 Security and Long Joyful Lives

Isaiah describes human life:

“They will build houses and dwell in them…
They will not labour in vain, nor bear children doomed to misfortune…”
- Isaiah 65:21–23 (NIV)

✅ No more homelessness.
✅ No more injustice.
✅ No more short, sorrowful lives.

✅ People will live "as long as trees" — strong, enduring, joyful lives under Christ's loving rule!

🌿 What Will Be Gone?

Evil Today
War
Future Reality
True Peace (Isaiah 2:4)
Injustice Righteous Rule (Isaiah 11:4)
Poverty Abundant Provision (Isaiah 65:21–22)
Violence Total Safety (Isaiah 11:8–9)
Death's Fear Long Life (Isaiah 65:22–23)

📖 Reflection

  • 🌱 What new skills would you love to learn in a peaceful world?
  • 🧡 What relationships would you want to grow in?
  • 🕊️ How will it feel to live without fear, sickness, or sorrow?

When Jesus taught us to pray:

"Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven..." - Matthew 6:10

THIS is what he had in mind.

✅ A real, tangible, joyful new world!

🌟 The Final Test

God’s Great Purpose: A World Forever Loyal and Free

For 1,000 years, Christ will rule in righteousness, bringing peace, restoration, and a new way of life to the Earth.
But God's purpose is not just to repair what was broken:
✅ It is to establish free will, loyalty, and true love permanently in the hearts of humanity.

Thus, at the end of the Millennium, there will be one final, crucial moment:
A final test that reveals every heart

📖 Satan's Release

After 1,000 years of peace, Scripture reveals a surprising development:

“When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison
and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and to gather them for battle.”
- Revelation 20:7–9 (NIV)

✅ Satan is released, but only briefly.
✅ He quickly gathers those who choose to rebel against God's rule.

The rebellious forces are symbolically called "Gog and Magog", (Revelation 20: 7-10) of enemies surrounding God's peaceful people.

✅ Despite perfect conditions:

  • Some humans will still choose pride and rebellion.
  • Satan deceives these rebels one last time for a final doomed attack.

⚔️ Why a Final Test?

✅ Because true love must be voluntary.
✅ God does not force loyalty, He invites it.

The final test reveals:

  • 🌱 Who has genuinely embraced righteousness
  • 💔 And who has only outwardly conformed

Every heart is laid bare.

📖 Satan Destroyed Forever

But the rebellion is short-lived.

“But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur…”
- Revelation 20:9–10 (NIV)

✅ God's judgment is swift and final:

  • Satan is destroyed forever.
  • Evil is completely eradicated.
  • No more deceivers, no more enemies of peace.

Malachi foretold it:

“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace.
All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble…”
- Malachi 4:1 (NIV)

✅ The Earth is cleansed and only loyal, loving humanity remains.

📖 Reflection

  • In the end, no one will serve God out of fear.
  • Only those who truly love Him will remain, joyful, free, and eternal.

📖 The Great White Throne

After the final rebellion, comes the final judgment:

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it.
I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened…
The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”
- Revelation 20:11–12 (NIV)

✅ Every human who ever lived will stand before God's throne.
✅ Judgment will be based on:

  • Full knowledge
  • Full opportunity
  • Personal choices made during the Millennium.

✅ New scrolls ("books") will be opened, likely containing God's restored teachings.

📖 Mercy and Justice

God's judgment perfectly balances mercy and righteousness.

Paul wrote:

“All who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law… and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.” - Romans 2:12 (NIV)

Jesus confirmed:

“The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son.” - John 5:22 (NIV)

✅ Jesus, the person who walked on the earth and interacted with humans, will judge with compassion and perfect understanding.

✅ Those who embrace truth and righteousness will receive eternal life.
✅ Those who persist in rebellion, even after full opportunity, will not enter the New World.

📖 Reflection:

  • God's plan isn't simply rescue
  • It’s restoration, teaching, testing, and eternal reward.

✅ After the final judgment, only joy, loyalty, and life will remain.

📖 The Final Outcome - Perfection

Two glorious final events conclude Christ’s mission:

🌿 Humanity Fully Restored

Through Christ’s reign, humans will finally become what God intended:

✅ No sin.

✅ No sickness.
✅ No death.

Isaiah promises:

“No resident will say, ‘I am sick’; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.” - Isaiah 33:24 (NIV)

Revelation assures:

“There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…” - Revelation 21:4 (NIV)

✅ Humanity will live forever as healthy and joyful friends of God

👑 Christ hands Back the Kingdom

Once all is made perfect, Jesus will humbly return everything to Jehovah.

Paul explains:

“Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father…” - 1 Corinthians 15:24–26 (NIV)

And:

“When he has done this, the Son himself will be made subject to Him… so that God may be all in all.” - 1 Corinthians 15:28 (NIV)

✅ Jesus' reign has never been about self-glory —
It has always been about fulfilling his Father's loving purpose.

📖 Share the Truth with Others

Jesus didn’t intend for the truth to be hidden away.

He said:

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
- Matthew 5:14–15

✅ If you’ve discovered clearer Bible truth, you have something precious and valuable.
✅ And now, part of being a faithful and wise servant (Matthew 24:45) is sharing that light with others with kindness, patience, and love.

You don’t have to be a public speaker or a Bible expert.
Sharing can be simple, natural, and personal.

The more people that become thinking, caring Christians, the more kind, warm friends we will all have and more praise will go to our heavenly Father and our King Jesus Christ.

Here are some practical ways you can share this course and the Good News:

Nobody likes being preached at.

Jesus said:

When you live with love, peace, and clarity, people notice.
And often, they'll ask you why you’re different.

There is

🌟 Use the Fellowship Groups Tab

✅ Whether you plant seeds through a conversation, a text message, a shared study, or simply by living faithfully,
You are helping to fulfil Jesus’ invitation to be a light in this dark world.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”Matthew 28:19–20

You are not alone.
God’s Spirit is with you and millions of other Bible students.
And every small act of sharing truth matters more than you may ever realize.

🌿 Final Thought

From a broken, dying world, To a healed, joyful, eternal world.

From sorrow and rebellion, To everlasting life and love.

“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”John 10:10

The Kingdom is real.
The restoration is coming.
The invitation is open.
